WFPK was the presenting station at this year’s (2010) Forecastle Festival held in Waterfront Park. Our morning host James Bickers and myself were set up behind the main stage, mics in hand and ready to roll. Sep. 11, 2008 - What does it take to keep the band playing? An army at home
Not that it comes as a shock, but it's no easy task getting Widespread Panic on stage day after day during those mammoth tours the band takes each year. Some 35 people keep the wheels spinning - from Athens to whatever the destination may be and back - and that's not counting the nearly 40 people hired at each site for shows.
