Ribs and Whiskey

This clip highlights the Widespread Panic original Ribs and Whiskey. First played way back in November 1990 it would spend 16 years as an unreleased fan favorite popping up in John Bell solo shows, making it into the regular setlist rotation in 2003 and on an official release on 2006’s Earth to America.

Here the tune finds its way back to its roots as an acoustic barnburner. Widespread Panic offers this rendition at the Fillmore in Denver, CO as part of the Wood Tour. Enjoy this celebration of ribs, whiskey and friend’s sisters.
